Wrapping up

Things are just getting depressing now. This weekend was filled with things we did because the end is near.

On Friday we had a group "happy hour" and then dinner with Kostas (and Andre, Erin, and Stefan), to say goodbye and have one last "hurrah." Of course afterwards we had our Psych viewing, which is just a necessity, even though I think Corbett will be happy to not have to watch it every week.

Saturday was a Monticello day with Chris & Sonya. We had never been there before, and it's basically one of their favorite places. Since it's a two-hour drive, it's not something we were motivated to do on our own, even though for three years we'd been talking about it. We couldn't get tickets for the "behind-the-scenes" tour (sold out), but it was a pretty awesome day. We had a lunch of all-you-can-eat fried chicken (with a humorous exchange between Corbett and the waitress when he asked if she had small breasts, then was disappointed to realize that, as he said, "no, you have huge breasts"), and a fun time just walking all over the grounds and getting a tour of the house (with someone who looked just like Rose from Lost).

Yesterday we began packing and then went to Will's house for a barbeque (that I jokingly suggested he have when we had drinks Friday night). Of course it rained so it was an indoor BBQ, and it lasted a lot longer than expected....we didn't leave until half past midnight.

Now it's work time again. And it's kind of freaky that in two weeks, we're gone.
